Supporting over 250 charities in Greater Manchester who provide food to those that need it most.
We believe that all good to eat food that is fit for human consumption should be eaten and not thrown away. We support over 250 charities in Greater Manchester who provide food to those who need it most.
Donating unwanted stock helps those in need, it is also a great way of reducing food waste and protecting the environment.
Preventing food waste also prevents the waste of the resources that go into producing that food.
For every tonne of surplus food FareShare redistributes, we prevent the waste of 2 tonnes of embedded CO2e emissions and 2.66 million litres of water (based on our latest environmental impact data for 2024.
In addition, we can provide you with quarterly impact reports highlighting the great work and support you have given to your local community and support your ESG objectives.
