A wide variety of surplus food is available, including ambient goods, fresh produce, chilled and frozen items, as well as catering-sized products for organisations supporting their communities. Our support helps local organisations and community food projects across Greater Manchester provide meals to those in need. We supply over 250 charities and community groups across Greater Manchester, helping them provide meals, food parcels and vital community services.
Members can choose to have food delivered or collect it from our warehouse in Openshaw.

FareShare Go is a free food support programme that allows eligible charities and community groups to collect surplus food directly from participating supermarkets. Membership is open to registered charities, schools, community groups and community food projects supporting people experiencing food insecurity. FareShare Go gives organisations access to surplus food available at the end of the day from retailers such as Tesco and Asda. Once signed up, organisations are matched with a nearby participating supermarket for regular collections.
